Topic: Using SComm32 OCX in Office/MSAccess 365 (Access 2016)
|
By: Support | Posted on: Feb 28 2017 at 06:39:42 PM | We've created a couple of very simply accdb projects showing how to use SComm32 in MS Access. We built these using Office/Access 365 (Access 2016)
Download Sample accdb projects zip
There's two projects. One where the component is placed on a form. The other where the component is declared in code using the CreateObject syntax.
Please feel free to modify and use our sample projects any way you wish.

Note: The above zip only contains the 2 sample accdb projects. The zip does not contain the SComm32 OCX. If you haven't installed SComm32 yet then download that first from the Main Downloads Page

If you still have the problem then maybe look in the toolbox. Is it in there? If not then right-click the toolbox and go to additional components. Add the scomm32 v9 communications ocx.
